The Only Reason You're Not Getting Customers

The 6 psychology hacks that make people buy

I made my first million dollars when I was 24.

And at the time, that felt late.

Because I’d see 18 and 19-year-olds making $100K/month online, and I was beating my head against the wall thinking:

“What do they understand that I don’t?”

Eventually, I figured it out.

And when I implemented what I’m about to share with you, it changed everything.

I broke this down in an uncut video on my new channel. Watch it here:

Most people think they have an outreach problem.

They think their DMs are bad.

They think people aren’t reading their messages.

But that’s usually not the issue.

The real reason people don’t buy from you is simple:

They don’t trust you can deliver.

That’s it.

If you’re selling an online service, a course, a product, or anything on the internet, people are constantly asking one question in their head:

“Can this person actually help me get the result I want?”

And if your profile, content, website, case studies, and offer don’t answer that question clearly, they won’t buy.

Even if your service is good.

Even if your outreach is good.

Even if they actually need what you sell.

This is the new game.

The old path was:

Go to school.
Get a degree.
Get a job.

That worked because 30 years ago, credentials were the main way society created trust.

But the internet changed everything.

Now the new path is:

Learn a skill.
Post proof.
earn income.

You don’t need a degree to prove you can edit videos.

You need a portfolio.

You don’t need a certificate to prove you can implement AI for businesses.

You need proof that you understand the problem and can create the outcome.

You don’t need permission.

You need trust.

And there are six things that create it:

1. Authority

People need to see that you know what you’re talking about.

This can be as simple as a Loom video, an iPhone video, or a post explaining your service and how it works.

You don’t need it to go viral.

You just need someone who lands on your profile to think:

“Okay, this person understands this.”

2. Social proof

People trust you more when they see that other people have trusted you first.

That’s why case studies are so powerful.

If you helped a client save time, make money, get more views, automate a process, or solve a painful problem, document it.

Show what you did.

Show the result.

Tell the story.

3. Consistency

Your DM, profile, website, and content all need to match.

If you message someone saying you help businesses implement AI, but your Instagram bio says nothing about AI, your profile has no proof, and your website is unrelated, trust disappears.

People need alignment.

Your funnel should make sense immediately.

4. Likeness

People buy from people.

If your profile is anonymous, cold, and faceless, you are making it harder for people to feel comfortable with you.

Show your face.

Tell your story.

Let people understand who they’re about to book a call with.

You don’t need to be famous.

You just need to feel real.

5. Reciprocity

One of the fastest ways to build trust is to give value upfront.

Send a free audit.

Build the first version.

Record a personalized Loom.

Show them what you would fix before they ever pay you.

When someone sees the work before the sale, the buying decision gets much easier.

6. Scarcity

If you sell a service, scarcity is real.

You only have so much time.

You can only take so many clients.

So say that.

“I only take three clients per month.”

“I have one spot left this month.”

“I’m only doing five free audits this week.”

Real scarcity creates urgency.

And urgency gets people to act.

Here’s the big idea:

If people are seeing your outreach but not replying, your message might not be the problem.

Your trust assets are probably the problem.

You need content that shows authority.

You need case studies that show proof.

You need a profile that clearly says what you do.

You need a website that makes you look legitimate.

You need to show your face.

You need to give value upfront.

And you need to make it clear why they should act now.

That’s how strangers become customers.
