Want to blow up on YouTube?

Master these 6 skills.

Hi there!

This is, by far, the question I get asked the most… how can I scale my business with YouTube content?

I distilled 8 years of YouTube knowledge into 43 minutes.

It’s everything I’ve learned growing my account to 430k+ subs, getting over 14 million views, and generating over $5 million in revenue for my businesses… all in less time than it takes to watch a single episode of Breaking Bad.

Here is why you should be scaling your business on YouTube…

Thank the YouTube Gods for creating a world where you don’t need any subscribers to get 100k views anymore.

All you need to do is create one good piece of content… the algorithm will do the rest.

Master the 6 YouTube skills needed to consistently make good content and you’ll be making professional athlete money. That is by no means an exaggeration:

  • Iman Gadzhi is rumored to have made $22m last year

  • Hormozi made $85m

  • Ali Abdaal made $5.4m

  • Dan Koe made $4.2m

If you want to make NBA money… focus on these 6 YouTube skills:

Skill 1: Strategy

You can make three types of content: 1) Entertainment (broad audience), 2) Information (narrow audience), or 3) Technical (niche audience).

Broad content optimizes for growth. Niche content optimizes for conversions. I like to live in the middle where you get both.

Skill 2: Ideation

If your video idea isn’t interesting, no one will watch it - that is a promise.

There are 4 main ways to brainstorm banger video ideas: 1) trending topics, 2) YouTube analytics, 3) keyword research, and 4) find what is working for other channels.

To get maximum views, use the ‘new business opportunity’ format.

Skill 3: Packaging

One of my videos got 12.9k views in 5 days (not great for my channel). One small tweak to the title and thumbnail led to 158.6k views in the following 5 days.

That thumbnail change made me over $100,000.

In this video, I’ll show you the research strategies I use to find proven title and thumbnail ideas.

Skill 4: Writing

Your objective is to turn strangers into customers. To do that, you need to treat your videos like a math equation:

Psychology + Storytelling + Value = Sales

Skill 5: Retention

The longer people watch your video, the harder YouTube will push it.

There are 4 mistakes beginners make that lead to retention death: 1) prefacing, 2) self aggrandizing, 3) explaining nuance, and 4) repeating yourself.

In this video, I’ll show you how to avoid them.

Skill 6: Performance

Good performance gives people energy… if you want other people to be excited by your idea, you better be excited about it yourself.

In every video, I am constantly aware of my 1) body movement, 2) facial expressions, 3) tonality, and 4) hand gestures.

In this case study, I’ll walk you through how I used each of these 6 skills to earn $96,358.20 from posting just one video.

If you’re interested in online business, it would be foolish not to at least consider how YouTube could help you achieve your business goals!
